Tongue-twisters (急口令/gap1 hau2 ling6) are something absolutely fascinating, both to the native-speakers and language learners. They are challenging and at the same time they help learners to distinguish among similar phonemes of a language.
A typical tongue-twister should only take a few days to master, if you aim to speak it at a moderate speed. If you already know the pronunciation of the individual words, it should take no more than a day.
In this series, I will present some famous Cantonese tongue-twisters, together with the audio demonstrations and practicing tips.
Tongues-twisters are easy to learn, but also easy to forget. Remember to practice them from time to time.
